Terms of service

The terms, in plain English.

Last updated: June 2026

By creating an account on Your Hours Are Numbered you agree to these terms. They're written so a person can read them. If something here is genuinely unclear, write to us and we'll clarify.

Your account

You need a Your Hours Are Numbered account to log blocks. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for the activity that happens under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Your Hours Are Numbered is a paid subscription. New accounts begin with a free trial; at the end of the trial your chosen plan starts and your card is charged on the cadence you picked (monthly or yearly). Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from Settings, or by writing to us. After you cancel, your account stays active through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Refunds

We don't prorate or refund partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month or mid-year, you keep access until the period ends and nothing more is charged. If you were charged in error, or something obviously went wrong, email us and we'll fix it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Your Hours Are Numbered to break the law, harm other people, or circumvent the billing system. Don't try to attack, scrape, or overload the service. Don't resell access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

Service and changes

We work to keep Your Hours Are Numbered available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is.” We may change features, prices, or these terms over time. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Your Hours Are Numbered is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes will be brought in courts located in Delaware.
